Family Advocacy Program

The MJCF Coalition proudly launched the Family Advocacy Program—a dedicated initiative offering community-based doula services and vital advocacy for individuals and families navigating the family policing system (also known as child welfare or child protective services).

Our mission is to educate, empower, and advocate for families facing unjust government intervention, forced separation, and systemic barriers to reunification.

We equip families with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to navigate complex child welfare cases—while pushing for policies that center family preservation, racial justice, and community healing.

Through this program, we are not only supporting families—we are building a movement that protects them, uplifts their stories, and fights for their right to remain whole.
